في انتهاك جديد لحقوق الإنسان السلطات العراقية تعتقل الصحفي ناصر الياسري بسبب انتقاده ايران

أعرب المركز عن إدانته الشديدة لاعتقال الصحفي ناصر الياسري في كربلاء من قِبَل قوات أمنية عراقية، وذلك بسبب انتقاداته العلنية للنظام الإيراني وتدخله في الشؤون الداخلية العراقية. وأكد التقرير أن هذا الاعتقال يمثل انتهاكًا صارخًا لحرية الرأي والتعبير في العراق، وهي حقوق يكفلها الدستور العراقي والقوانين الدولية لحقوق الإنسان.

وأشار المركز إلى أن اعتقال الصحفيين والناشطين بسبب آرائهم يعد تهديدًا لحرية الصحافة في العراق، ويعكس تدهور حالة حقوق الإنسان في البلاد، خاصة فيما يتعلق بحرية التعبير عن الرأي والحق في النقد السلمي. وطالب المركز بالإفراج الفوري عن ناصر الياسري، وضمان حماية الصحفيين والنشطاء من التعرض للترهيب أو الاعتقال بسبب آرائهم.

كما دعا مركز الرافدين المجتمع الدولي للضغط على السلطات العراقية لاحترام التزاماتها تجاه حرية التعبير، واتخاذ إجراءات لحماية حقوق الإنسان وضمان مناخ آمن للصحافة والنشاط السلمي.

In a report published by the Rafidain International Center for Justice and Human Rights in Geneva, the center expressed its strong condemnation of the arrest of journalist Nasser Al-Yasiri in Karbala by Iraqi security forces, due to his public criticism of the Iranian regime and its interference in Iraqi internal affairs. The report stressed that this arrest represents a flagrant violation of freedom of opinion and expression in Iraq, rights guaranteed by the Iraqi constitution and international human rights laws.

The center indicated that the arrest of journalists and activists because of their opinions is a threat to freedom of the press in Iraq, and reflects the deterioration of the human rights situation in the country, especially with regard to freedom of expression and the right to peaceful criticism. The center called for the immediate release of Nasser Al-Yasiri, and ensuring the protection of journalists and activists from intimidation or arrest because of their opinions.

The Rafidain Center also called on the international community to pressure the Iraqi authorities to respect their obligations towards freedom of expression, and to take measures to protect human rights and ensure a safe environment for journalism and peaceful activity.
